Dr Diana Prodanović Stankić

Language is at the heart of everything I do. As a linguist, researcher and educator, I explore how languages shape the ways we understand the world, express culture, construct meaning and connect with one another. My work brings together linguistics, culture and cognition, with research interests spanning Cognitive and Cultural Linguistics, Pragmatics, Translation Studies and multimodal communication. Through research and teaching, I am particularly interested in the creative and human dimensions of language and in the ways linguistic knowledge can help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.
